Executive Leadership Team
Lee Arnold is an international speaker, trainer, author and licensed broker who has spent many years perfecting the real estate and private money mortgage lending process through thousands of transactions. Lee is a leading expert on private money mortgages and has been featured as an investment strategy expert by Forbes, the Boston Globe, Market Watch, Reuters and Business Week. He has also consulted and taught for a number of national financial literacy companies.
As a master of networking, Lee connects private investors to borrowers from across the United States and Canada. To leverage the power of these relationships Lee and the Secured Investment Corp’s executive leadership team have created Cogo Capital – The Private Money Company, Lake City Servicing and The Lee Arnold System of Real Estate Investing. This family of companies is among the fastest growing private money mortgage firm in the United States.
Key to the company’s values is integrity and trust. These values are founded on a deep commitment to biblical values. Lee is personally dedicated to helping others and leads the He’s The Solution ministry.
Chief Executive Officer
Jaclyn Olsen joined Secured Investment Corp as Chief Financial Officer in May 2007. In this position, Olsen serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction of the Company. Within finance, she guides the controller, accounting, tax, and internal audit functions to deliver the company’s continued aggressive growth and exceed its clients’ expectations.
Prior to joining Secured Investment Corp, Olsen held previous accounting roles with Venafi, Inc. and Linux Networx and she also operated her own financial consulting practice. Throughout her 20-year career in accounting and finance, Olsen has established a reputation as a transformational leader working with both start-ups and mature companies where her expertise and experience guided significant growth and scalable accounting infrastructure.
She holds an MBA in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Westminster College.
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Jerrow leads operations for Secured Investment Corp. He directs the sales team and supports cross-team delivery of client services, corporate partnerships, infrastructure, and access to real estate investment capital.
Prior to joining Secured Investment Corp, Michael spent nearly 20 years of his professional life in higher education following 5 years serving as a software developer. His migration to the education space led him to a role with Carrington College. He served in a variety of functions for the college, from project management to IT support to campus instructor and more.
One of his key roles was as the Director of Real Estate Planning which focused on helping define geographic growth strategies, develop new facility standards, and optimize the institution’s real estate portfolio. During this time, he also created and oversaw the institution’s Project Management Office which was responsible for ensuring successful execution of the annual operating plan. From there he transitioned to executive leadership for the Spokane campus and served in the role of Regional Director.
He holds a BA in Project Management from DeVry University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Greg Garrick is a transformational omni-channel digital marketing leader with a focus on strategy, demand generation and data analytics. From large corporations such as Hearst and SBC to startups like Manta Media and UpSnap, he has built, managed and mentored marketing teams as large as 45 members. At Manta Media he helped to grow the company into one of the largest, most trafficked websites in the U.S.
Garrick has managed multi-million-dollar annual marketing budgets to generate leads and sales for the companies he serves. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Drake University. Greg is a frequent speaker on small business marketing and has been featured in Entrepreneur, Venture Beat, Yahoo and other top entrepreneur media outlets.
CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Heather Dreves is the Director of Funding at Secured Investment Corp. She is a tenured employee that has worked in the Private Money Industry for over 15 years and held her series 63 license. Heather has been directly involved in the sale of over 75 million dollars in Trust Deed Mortgages and raised over 10 million in Secured Investment Corps High Yield Equity Funds. She has had experience in assisting underwriting, managing the Cogo and Servicing team in addition to Investor Relations.
DIRECTOR OF FUNDING
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Southern Utah University, Cherie Constance has been writing and marketing for businesses and medical companies nonstop. As the VP of Marketing for Lee Arnold and Secured Investment Corp. since 2006, she has enhanced the scope and reach of each company.
As author, co-author and managing editor, Cherie has written and published three medical books with physicians, a skin care book with a pharmaceutical client, plus many self-help and industry standard real estate and private money volumes.
VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING
As the Director of Investor Relations, Zachary Weishaupt helps raise capital to increase our funds’ potential profitability, helps clients invest money, cultivates long-term valuable relationships, networks with high net worth individuals, presents Fund II and Fund III investment opportunities to investors, and assists with marketing initiatives to grow our database of investors.
DIRECTOR OF INVESTOR RELATIONS
As a Funding Assistant, Lisa McNeill’s main goal is to help clients put their money to work for them. She helps raise money in our high yield funds, sells trust deed notes to one off investors, works with IRA companies to transfer funds into higher-yielding platforms, and educates clients on the powerful benefits of private money.
Investor Relations Specialist
Lea Allen joined our team in February 2012 after graduating from Gonzaga University. As the controller for Secured Investment Corp, Lea Allen oversees the accounting department and Lake City Servicing operations. With a shrewd eye for numbers, Lea directs and oversees all accounting functions and financial and tax reporting for the multiple divisions of Secured Investment Corp, as well as the High Yield Equity Funds. She also manages the loan process team, from origination to payoff, making sure borrower payments are collected and payoffs occur in a timely manner for our lenders.
Jordan McDaniel is the accountant for both of our private equity funds. She manages our monthly and quarterly distributions, financial projections, analyzation for fund profitability, expense management, fund reports, and property management for fund investments.
As Senior Compliance Officer, Dan manages compliance for Secured Investment Corp., its private equity funds, and their affiliated entities, by utilizing our robust network of outside counsel relationships. Dan's strong goal-oriented approach to compliance matters has helped define the “bottom line’ objectives, implement efficient solutions, and maximize outcomes for the company.
Dan has a diverse range of prior experience having worked with in-house counsel for an international investment holding company, spending several years at a private law firm focusing on corporate, real estate, and estate planning for high net worth individuals, and serving in volunteer roles for Legal Aid Services of Oregon and other public interest law projects. Dan holds a BA from the University of Oregon and graduated
magna cum laude
from Willamette University College of Law. He is currently pursuing admission to the Washington State Bar.
